The Team

The team is formed of three individuals with over 70 years of experience between them.

Jon Hayes- Three years as head mechanic for the Animal Orange downhill mountain bike team has given me the experience I need to offer sound technical support to our clients. Former world champions, Greg Minnar, and Gee and Rachel Atherton, are among my best-known clients. Last year, I finished the Trans Rockies seven-day mountain bike stage race in Canada. I’ve raced at national level, home and abroad, but now find most enjoyment riding for fun with friends, and exploring new places. I’ve traveled around the world, but I’m now happily settled back in Poole – just a stone’s throw from the glorious Purbeck hills and Dorset’s breathtaking Jurassic coastline. 

Dave Whild- Twenty years in the bicycle industry, including three years as national sales manager for Orange mountain bikes, and five years running my own store, has fueled my passion for all things bike-related. Work as an account manager with leading bicycle clothing firm, Endura, takes me to some of the biggest events in cycling. I spend evenings and weekends doing what I enjoy most – riding with friends through the Purbeck hills and New Forest.

Alec Fraser- I have been riding seriously for over 10 years, adding some of the legendary Alpine cols to my sporting CV. Five seasons snowboarding in the Alps is testament to my love of the outdoors. I travel the world as a professional sailor, but time away from the water often takes me to Wales and some of the best ‘single track’ trails in Britain.
